We develop chemical and thermomechanical recycling pathways for thermoset plastics — materials long considered unrecyclable — to bring them into a true circular economy. This includes cost-effective closed-loop recycling technologies for thermoset polyurethanes, advanced from concept to near-commercialization, building on related work co-inventing Elium®, the first commercially recyclable fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite for wind blades.
